For my first visual mystery I chose to sit my model (Les) on the edge of the docks and had thrown his phone into the water. After a short tantrum he became very sad and depressed such as in the picture. Okay, I didn’t really throw his phone into the water, but you get the idea. It’s a bit of a sad mystery. 

To edit this photo of Les, I increased the contrast levels so his clothes would be somewhat of a silhouette compared to the background. However, after this change, it was not exactly how I wanted the message to be sent. To emphasize the emotion I wanted the audience to feel, I changed the brightness to a ‘Low Focus’ in black and white to rid the happiness in the photo.
